I just moved those two levers like the first reel lever was and that done the trick other than my problem you solved for me.about the reel alignment.I had the same problem on other old Bally slot I have and found that at some point someone replaced the strips and either it slipped on the first reel or they didn't get it lined up properly when replacing it. When I pulled the reel assembly out and looking over very closely I found two small levers, one on second reel and one on third reel positioned behind another lever unlike the one the first reel which would spin upon play but would lock the handle in the down position. There is a repair shop tag hanging off the pull handle with what appears to be a customers name and phone number and "Bad Reel Assembly" on one side of the tag and the other side has the name and number of a antique slot repair shop (I don't want to throw anyone under the bus here, so I'll keep that name to myself). I just bought it a few days ago off CL, it's in super amazing condition for being 46 years old.
